Jordan Clark
Associate General Counsel
Jordan Clark joined the University of Central Florida in 2003, and he serves as Associate General Counsel for the University and Legal Counsel for UCF Athletics Association, Inc. During his time at UCF, Jordan represented and advised the university in complex commercial transactions, construction contracting, construction litigation, administrative hearings, project finance transactions, organizational governance, public procurement disputes, student issues, public records, and Florida’s Sunshine Law requirements. Jordan’s primary practice area focuses on intercollegiate athletics and supporting UCF’s direct support organizations.
Prior to joining the university, he practiced in the areas of Mergers and Acquisitions/Corporate Securities in Miami, Florida with the law firms of Steel Hector and Davis LLP and Greenberg Traurig. Jordan received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting with honors from West Virginia University and his Juris Doctor degree with honors from the University of Florida, where he was an associate editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy. Jordan is admitted to practice in Florida and has been recognized in multiple years as one of Florida’s Legal Elite by Florida Trend Magazine. Jordan is also an active member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys and has been a featured speaker on legal issues within college athletics at their annual national conference.
He is active in university and community affairs having served as a board member to numerous civic boards in Central Florida, including as past chairman of Lake Eola Charter School Board of Directors and a founding member of the Galileo School for Gifted Learning Board of Directors.
