Paula Sagarino joined the Health Affairs Legal Department in 2016. Paula is responsible for managing the organization, governance, and activity of College of Medicine related entities while providing support for the development and management of strategic partnerships – those related to the UCF Lake Nona Hospital and the UCF Lake Nona Cancer Center. She also oversees work and relationships involving the college’s self-insurance program; develops regulatory structures for Medicare, Medicaid and clinical laboratories across the Academic Health Sciences Center; addresses litigation-related issues and procedures; and handles a wide-range of administrative legal concerns for the college. 

Paula is a member of Association of Governing Boards (AGB) of Universities and Colleges, and The National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA). In her spare time, she enjoys travel, reading, and spending time with her family.

Paula graduated from Quinnipiac University, magna cum laude, with a B.A. in History and Legal Studies. Previously, she was a registration compliance manager for an Orlando-based timeshare company and spent ten years as a commercial litigation paralegal for a large law firm, where she worked for the franchise and appellate practice groups.
