Main Office

Rebecca Hanus joined the Office of General Counsel in 2022 and serves as Associate General Counsel for the University. She previously worked in the UCF Office of Research and, prior to that, served as legal counsel and in the Office of Research at Clemson University.

Rebecca received her Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology from Emory University and her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she was an executive editor for the Journal of Intellectual Property Law.

In her free time, Rebecca enjoys traveling with her family, art, and spending time at the beach.
